NHS Supply Chain Awards £92 Million Cardiac Diagnostics Framework

SUPPLY CHAIN COORDINATION LIMITED has awarded a new framework agreement for Cardiac and Pulmonary Diagnostics and Exercise (Stress) Testing Solutions, giving NHS Supply Chain access to a broad range of diagnostic equipment and related services for use across the UK healthcare sector.

The framework covers electrocardiograph (ECG) devices and management systems, ambulatory monitoring and wearable recorder services, and exercise tolerance testing (ETT), cardiopulmonary exercise testing (CPET), and pulmonary function testing (PFT) systems.

The agreement has an estimated total value of £92 million including VAT and is expected to run from 27 July 2026 until 26 July 2028, with the option to extend for a further two years to July 2030.

A total of 28 suppliers have secured places across the framework’s three lots.

Lot 1 – Electrocardiograph (ECG) Devices and Management Systems (16 suppliers):

Cambridge Heartwear Limited, Cardiac Services, Cortrium ApS, Fukuda Denshi UK Ltd, GE HealthCare, Intermedical (UK) Ltd, Love Medical Limited, Mindray (UK) Limited, Numed Healthcare, Philips Electronics UK Limited, Schiller UK Ltd, Seca Limited, Spacelabs Healthcare Limited, Walters Medical Limited, Welch Allyn (U.K.) Limited and Williams Medical Supplies Limited.

Lot 2 – Ambulatory Monitoring, Wearable Recorder Devices and Related Services (10 suppliers):

Broomwell Healthwatch Limited, Cambridge Heartwear Limited, Cardioscan Ltd, Cortrium ApS, Express Diagnostics Limited, Icentia Limited, iRhythm Technologies Ltd, LifeSignals Europe Ltd, Philips Electronics UK Limited and Technomed Limited.

Lot 3 – Exercise Tolerance Testing (ETT), Cardiopulmonary Exercise Testing (CPET), and Pulmonary Function Testing (PFT) Systems and Related Products and Services (9 suppliers):

Cardiac Services, GE HealthCare, Intermedical (UK) Ltd, Jaeger Medical UK Limited, Love Medical Limited, Medical Graphics UK Ltd, Philips Electronics UK Limited, Schiller UK Ltd and Seca Limited.

The framework enables NHS Supply Chain to procure cardiac and pulmonary diagnostic products and services on behalf of NHS organisations, other public sector bodies and eligible healthcare providers across the UK.
