NHS South Yorkshire ICB Awards £14 Million Individual Placement Support Contract

NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (ICB) has awarded a contract for the delivery of its Individual Placement Support (IPS) for Serious Mental Illness (SMI) service to South Yorkshire Housing Association Limited.

The contract has a total potential value of £14 million and was awarded following an open procedure.

The service will provide support to people with serious mental illness to help them start or remain in employment.

The agreement is expected to commence on 1 October 2026 and run until 30 September 2029.

The contract includes the option to extend for a further two years, potentially taking the agreement through to 30 September 2031. The published contract value of £14 million covers the maximum possible five-year term.
