MCB Software Services Awarded £308k Dorset All Age Continuing Care Digital Platform Contract

NHS Dorset Integrated Care Board has awarded MCB Software Services Limited a contract to provide an All Age Continuing Care digital platform for Dorset.

The procurement will provide a digitalised end-to-end system for Dorset’s All Age Continuing Care service, bringing processes together within one platform so that information can flow between them throughout the lifecycle.

The system is intended to support enhanced transformation across all areas of the service. Dorset’s All Age Continuing Care Service provides care to vulnerable adults and children across Dorset.

The contract is valued at £308,000 excluding VAT and £369,600 including VAT. It is expected to run from 1 October 2026 until 30 September 2029, with an option to extend for a further 12 months following the initial three-year term, potentially taking the contract through to 30 September 2030.

The award decision was made on 10 August 2026, and assessment summaries were sent to tenderers on 14 August 2026. The earliest date the contract will be signed is 16 September 2026.

Four tenders were received and all four were assessed in the final stage, including two submitted by SMEs. MCB Software Services Limited, which is identified as an SME, was selected as the successful supplier, with three suppliers unsuccessful.

The contract was awarded through a competitive flexible procedure and is classified under Software package and information systems.
