City of Bradford Metropolitan District Council has awarded a contract to Eden Brown Limited to deliver a Children and Young Person’s Occupational Therapy Service.
The contract has a value of £2.345 million excluding VAT (£2.814 million including VAT) and was awarded following an open procedure under the Light Touch regime.
The contract is expected to run from 2 November 2026 to 1 November 2029, with the option to extend until 1 November 2031, subject to budget and satisfactory contractor performance.
The service will provide a full Social Care Occupational Therapy Service for children and young people, assessing individuals in the community and home environment to support greater independence and engagement in everyday activities.
The service will support children and young people with physical disabilities, complex health needs, neurodiverse needs including autism spectrum disorder (ASD), and behaviours that challenge. It will also promote quality of life for children, young people, families and carers, help children remain at home where appropriate, and provide appropriate equipment and adaptations based on assessed needs using a strength-based approach.
