Andy Burnham to start national tour to hear cost of living concerns

Prime Minister Andy Burnham is set to begin a national tour of the UK as his government looks to hear directly from people about the financial pressures affecting households and communities. The tour will begin on Monday and is expected to continue through much of August, with Downing Street saying Burnham will spend the period in “listening mode”, travelling outside Westminster and speaking directly with people about the issues affecting their everyday lives.
