Children with Disabilities Care and Support Framework

Stirling Council is inviting providers to apply to join a new framework for the delivery of care and support services for children and young people with severe and enduring disabilities and/or medical conditions across Stirling.

The framework covers services designed to support children and young people within their own homes as well as more intensive community-based care and support. The procurement is being undertaken under the light-touch provisions of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015 and will establish a flexible framework that can be reopened to admit new providers at the Council’s discretion.

According to the Council, the framework is intended to support children and young people with a range of complex disabilities and medical conditions through flexible care and support arrangements tailored to individual needs.

Service Overview

The framework covers the provision of:

  • Care and support services delivered within a child or young person’s home.
  • More intensive care and support delivered within the community.
  • Services for children and young people with severe and enduring disabilities and/or medical conditions.
