The London Borough of Newham is inviting applications from providers for Round 7 of Lot 4 of its Pseudo-Dynamic Purchasing System (PDPS) for children’s care, accommodation and support services. This reopening is specifically for Independent Fostering Agencies (IFAs) regulated by Ofsted, supporting looked-after children and young people who require fostering placements.
The PDPS is intended to support the commissioning of services for looked-after children, care leavers and young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness.
Lot 4 – Independent Fostering Agencies (IFA): Providers must offer independent fostering services regulated by Ofsted.
The wider PDPS covers the following service areas:
Potential suppliers may apply for one or more lots, subject to the requirements of the relevant procurement round. This notice concerns the reopening of Lot 4, Round 7.
Price is not the only award criterion. The full evaluation criteria are provided in the procurement documents, and specific weightings are not disclosed in the supplied notice.
The Council will process applications when each round closes and may open further rounds at its discretion throughout the PDPS’s duration. Admission is subject to meeting the published requirements and submitting a compliant application.
This opportunity may suit Ofsted-regulated independent fostering agencies seeking to join Newham’s commissioning system and deliver fostering services for children and young people. Providers should review the procurement documents carefully to confirm the full admission requirements and evaluation process before applying.
