Accommodation-Based Supported Living (Acre Road)
The Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames
Location: South East
Basingstoke and Deane Borough Council is inviting tenders from providers to deliver housing-related support for vulnerable people who are rough sleeping or at risk of rough sleeping, with an estimated total contract value of £2,743,517.66 excluding VAT.
The contracts will provide emergency homelessness accommodation, targeted outreach and homelessness prevention services across Basingstoke.
The procurement is divided into two lots:
Both lots are suitable for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) and voluntary, community and social enterprises (VCSEs).
The procurement will be managed electronically through the ProContract e-procurement system. Clarification questions must be submitted through the platform, where responses will be published.
Providers must demonstrate their ability to deliver appropriate housing-related support for people experiencing homelessness or at risk of rough sleeping.
Lot 1 requires the capacity to operate emergency accommodation with 24/7 waking support for up to 18 single adults. Lot 2 focuses on targeted outreach, rough sleeping prevention and support for people moving through the housing pathway, including the management of four move-on bed spaces.
The opportunity may suit homelessness charities, supported accommodation providers and organisations experienced in outreach and housing support.
