Pre Front Door Integrated Urgent Care Services

NHS Coventry and Warwickshire Integrated Care Board is inviting tenders for integrated urgent care services across Coventry and Warwickshire, with an estimated total contract value of £203,957,880 excluding VAT.

The ICB is seeking a single accountable lead provider for each geographical area to coordinate urgent care services and improve access to treatment outside hospital emergency departments.

The successful providers will oversee integrated pathways covering:

• NHS 111 and GP out-of-hours services.
• Urgent Treatment Centres and Minor Injury Units.
• Emergency Department streaming and alternatives to ambulance conveyance.
• Same-day emergency care and diagnostics.
• Community urgent care and mental health crisis interfaces.

• Lot 2 – Integrated Urgent Care: Warwickshire: £116,337,180

Providers may bid for both lots.

• Improving Access and Reducing Health Inequalities: 10%
• Presentations: 10%
• Social Value: 10%

Basic selection and additional financial assessments include pass/fail requirements.

Supplier Requirements

Applicants must demonstrate the capability to lead, mobilise and manage a comprehensive urgent care system, including clinical governance, workforce coordination and collaboration with existing healthcare providers.

The procurement is being conducted under the Provider Selection Regime (PSR) 2023.

This opportunity is particularly relevant to established healthcare organisations and provider partnerships capable of coordinating large-scale urgent care services across multiple clinical settings.
