NHS Wales Shared Services Partnership (NWSSP) Procurement Services is inviting suppliers to join a national orthopaedic products framework worth an estimated £203,500,000 excluding VAT.
The multi-supplier framework will support NHS Wales organisations in purchasing orthopaedic implants, joint replacement systems, trauma products, surgical equipment and associated consumables.
Spinal products are excluded from the procurement.
The framework covers 13 lots:

| 7 | Paediatric Orthopaedics | £1m |
| 8 | Arthroscopy (Sports Medicine) | £15.9m |
| 9 | Bone Cement | £9.25m |
| 10 | Orthopaedic Power Tools, Consumables, & Capital Equipment | £17.35m |
| 11 | Regenerative Technology | £15.45m |
| 12 | Hip | £40.5m |
| 13 | Knee | £40.5m |
Participating NHS Wales organisations will be able to purchase through the Oracle catalogue system or establish supply commitments with appointed suppliers.
The following weightings apply across all 13 lots:
The opportunity is relevant to manufacturers, distributors and specialist suppliers of orthopaedic implants, surgical devices, joint replacement systems and related equipment.
Suppliers must meet the technical and commercial requirements set out in the procurement documents.
This framework offers medical device suppliers access to a major national purchasing arrangement serving health boards across Wales.
