Healthy Weight Service

The London Borough of Hounslow is seeking an experienced provider to deliver a redesigned Healthy Weight Service, with an estimated contract value of £1,080,000 including VAT.

The service will focus on prevention, early intervention and sustainable behaviour change, replacing the traditional 12-week weight management approach.

The successful provider will deliver:

• Universal and targeted healthy weight support.
• Family cooking and nutrition programmes.
• Engagement with children and young people through schools.
• Nutrition and behaviour change support alongside Healthy Hounslow’s physical activity services.
• Culturally appropriate programmes developed with local communities.

Services must follow evidence-based behaviour change principles and adopt a compassionate, trauma-informed and non-stigmatising approach.

Supplier Requirements

Providers must demonstrate clinical governance, effective performance management and the ability to achieve at least 85% of contractual KPIs.

The successful provider will work within the Healthy Hounslow Alliance.
