Fife Council has awarded a £7,216,470 contract to Real Life Options to provide care and support services for three individuals being discharged from hospital into community accommodation in Dunfermline.
The contract covers the Robertson Road service, an established group living facility that has operated for more than 20 years.
The council identified the service as suitable accommodation for three individuals on Fife’s Dynamic Support Register (DSR), citing an urgent requirement to support their discharge from hospital while maintaining continuity of care and transition planning.
The contract was awarded without prior publication of a call for competition, with Real Life Options appointed as the sole provider.
The contract was concluded on 8 October 2026 and includes provisions for additional purchases in accordance with Regulation 72 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
