Hearing Support Services

Cheshire East Council is seeking a provider to deliver hearing support services for D/deaf people living across Cheshire East.

The service will provide information and advice alongside practical support to help people with hearing needs access appropriate assistance within their communities and homes.

Key elements of the service include:

• Information and advice
• British Sign Language (BSL) communication support
• Face-to-face hearing support assessments
• Provision of equipment within people’s homes

The contract has an estimated value of £312,500 and is being procured through a below-threshold open competition under the light touch regime.

Evaluation Criteria

The procurement will use a two-stage evaluation process within a single RFQ response.

Suppliers must first satisfy the mandatory Procurement Specific Questionnaire (PSQ). Those meeting the qualifying requirements will progress to the award assessment, covering:

• Financial evaluation
• Qualitative evaluation questions
