Customer Care (Security) Services within Emergency Housing and Resettlement Service

Blackpool Coastal Housing Limited is seeking an experienced provider to deliver customer care and security support across its emergency housing and supported accommodation services.

This is not a standard security contract. Staff will work with vulnerable adults, families and young people with multiple disadvantages and complex needs, including undertaking welfare and building safety checks, managing access, monitoring CCTV, supporting emergency admissions and responding to safeguarding, challenging behaviour and emergency situations.

The service includes supported accommodation for young people at William Lyons House and emergency accommodation for homeless individuals, couples and families.

Provider Requirements

Providers must demonstrate at least two years’ relevant experience delivering customer care services involving vulnerable individuals and managing sensitive or challenging situations.

Directors/company and operatives must hold the required SIA licences, while staff delivering the service must have valid enhanced DBS checks.

The opportunity is particularly relevant to providers experienced in combining customer care, safeguarding and security support within homelessness and supported accommodation environments.
