Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust has awarded G-Fert Ltd a contract to provide a cycle courier service for dental services.
The service will provide reliable and secure transportation of documents, dental items and other materials between designated NHS sites and other approved locations, covering scheduled and ad-hoc deliveries.
The contract has an estimated value of £20,000 excluding VAT. As an activity-based contract, actual spend will depend on the volume of services commissioned and delivered and may be higher or lower than this figure.
The contract is expected to run from 15 September 2026 to 14 September 2028, with an option to extend for a further 12 months to 14 September 2029.
Two tenders were received and assessed, with G-Fert selected following a below-threshold open competition. The award decision was made on 4 September 2026.
