Oldham Metropolitan Borough Council has awarded Home-Start HOST Ltd a £2 million contract to deliver its Best Start Family Hubs Outreach Service.
The service forms part of Oldham’s Best Start Family Hubs approach, which brings together support for children, young people and families and aims to make services more accessible and closer to home.
Home-Start HOST has been awarded the contract with a value of £2,001,001.50 excluding VAT.
The contract is expected to run from 1 October 2026 until 31 March 2029, with two optional 12-month extensions potentially taking the agreement through to 31 March 2031.
Seven tenders were received, with two assessed at the final stage. The award decision was made on 25 August 2026.
