Wokingham Borough Council is seeking a provider to deliver accommodation-based support for vulnerable young people aged 16–21, including children in care and care leavers.
The service will provide safe, high-quality accommodation alongside tailored support to help young people build the skills, confidence and resilience needed to move towards adulthood and independent living.
Support will be flexible and based on individual needs, with a focus on safety, wellbeing, independence, positive relationships and participation in education, employment and training.
The provider will be expected to work collaboratively with young people, Wokingham Borough Council and relevant partner agencies to support individual outcomes.
The service will also contribute to the Council’s corporate parenting responsibilities, providing young people with stability, support and opportunities as they transition towards sustainable accommodation and greater independence.
The accommodation and support model will be designed around the individual needs of young people aged 16–21.
