The Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea has awarded learning disability supported housing and residential care contracts to three providers.
Learning Disability Network London Limited, Certitude and Look Ahead have been named as providers across services covering supported housing and residential care.
Learning Disability Network London Limited has been awarded the Supported Housing Service at Piper House, with the notice stating a total contract value of £766,848 excluding VAT and £920,217 including VAT.
Certitude has been awarded supported housing services at Southwood House, Westgate Terrace and Lancaster Road, valued at £1,458,106 excluding VAT and £1,749,727 including VAT.
Look Ahead has been awarded the Supported Housing Service at Amy Garvey House, with a total contract value of £397,054 excluding VAT and £476,465 including VAT.
Certitude has also been awarded the Residential Care contract at St Quintin and Barlby Road, valued at £2,495,426 excluding VAT and £2,994,511 including VAT.
The scope of the notice states that the supported housing contracts run from 1 April 2025 to 30 June 2026, with an option to extend for a further three months until 30 September 2026. The residential care home contract is stated as running from 1 April 2025 until 31 March 2027.
The individual contract details list estimated dates from 1 September to 30 September 2026 for the three supported housing contracts, while the residential care contract is estimated to run from 1 September 2026 until 31 March 2027.
The award decision for the Piper House contract was made on 1 August 2026, while the remaining three award decisions were made on 7 August 2026. The earliest date all four contracts will be signed is listed as 1 September 2026.
The contracts have been awarded through a direct award procedure under the light touch regime and are classified as social services.
