What’s one thing the public doesn’t understand about your job?

Every profession has misconceptions. In health and social care, people often see the outcome but not the countless decisions, responsibilities and emotional challenges that happen behind the scenes. From long shifts and difficult conversations to the dedication it takes to provide compassionate care, there’s much more to the role than many people realise.

Sharing these experiences can help build understanding, appreciation and respect for the people who keep our health and care services running every day.
