Birmingham Children’s Trust Community Interest Company has awarded a contract for the delivery of Domestic Abuse Support Services to Victim Support, following an open procurement process.
The contract is valued at £649,427.60 excluding VAT (£779,313.12 including VAT) and is due to commence on 1 October 2026, running until 30 September 2029. The agreement includes the option to extend by a further two 12-month periods, potentially taking the contract through to 30 September 2031.
The service is intended to ensure that families affected by domestic abuse can access support at the earliest opportunity through Early Help and Family Hubs within their local communities. Birmingham Children’s Trust aims to help prevent the harm caused by domestic abuse to non-abusive parents and their children, supporting improved outcomes including child safety, recovery from abuse, school attendance, family stability and a reduction in referrals to the Trust.
The procurement attracted two tenders, with both progressing to the final assessment stage. No tenders were submitted by SMEs or VCSE organisations.
The contract was awarded on 3 July 2026, with assessment summaries issued to tenderers on 6 July 2026. Following the standstill period, the earliest date the contract may be signed is 4 August 2026.
