Early Learning and Childcare Flexible Framework (Nurseries)(Reopening July 2026)

East Dunbartonshire Council is inviting applications from suitably qualified and experienced providers to join its Early Learning and Childcare Flexible Framework (Nurseries)(Reopening July 2026).

The framework is being reopened to admit new providers under the same requirements as the original procurement exercise. Existing providers already appointed to the framework are not required to reapply.

The framework covers the provision of early learning education and childcare services across East Dunbartonshire. It operates as a flexible framework, allowing new providers to apply at any point throughout the duration of the contract.

Framework Information

The procurement will establish a framework agreement with multiple providers.

The framework is designed to remain open to new entrants throughout its duration, enabling additional providers to join under the same requirements as the original tender exercise.

Existing framework providers are not required to submit a further application to remain on the framework.

Procurement Requirements

Selection requirements include:

• Professional suitability as detailed within the tender documentation
• Completion of the Financial Vetting Questionnaire
• Technical and professional capability as specified within the procurement documents

The Council also requires bidders to identify the names and professional qualifications of staff assigned to delivering the contract.
