15 Providers Appointed to £8.4m Bexley Semi-Independent Care Framework

London Borough of Bexley has appointed providers to a new framework for semi-independent placements for children and care leavers.

The framework is designed to support young people in developing the skills, confidence and resilience needed to transition into independent adulthood and is divided into two lots.

• Lot 1 – Children aged 16–18 has been awarded to six providers and is valued at £6 million excluding VAT.
• Lot 2 – Children aged 18–25 has been awarded to nine providers and is valued at £2.4012 million excluding VAT.

The stated lot values total £8.4012 million excluding VAT, although the notice specifies that framework lot values may be shared with other lots.

The framework is expected to run from 27 October 2026 to 2 March 2030, with a possible extension to 2 March 2032 at the council’s discretion.
